Help! I can't log in. I’m not having much luck with this car. I’ve now got an ECO Mode problem. Battery is showing 12.4V and status ok. Tried BSI reset. Checked for any left of electrical items. ECO Mode comes on the radio.

stop start only works if you slow down to around 15mph then stop you must use the footbrake if you put hand brake on engine starts. if a passenger opens the door to get out the engine starts. try driving up uor street then slow down to around 15 mph see if it works if it does try handbrake to see if engine starts then try door.
My stop/start is still working, but if the electronics go into power-save mode when I'm parked listening to the stereo, then stop/start won't work for a few miles because the battery isn't charged up enough. Power save mode operates to ensure that the battery has the capacity to start the car and also keep the alarm, etc. operational when parked.

Turn the key to the off position and LEAVE THE KEY IN THE IGNITION! Open the drivers door. The car should beep 3 times to warn you the key is still in the ignition.

Hello If the engine turns over the the starter motor is engaged. It is the starter motor it that turns the engine over. If you get an engine that turns over quickly but won't fire, it may not have any fuel to ignite or the immobiliser is inhibiting start. qMGB8G.
